What does everyone think of JR Tigers patch he's showing off on IG.
You think it's worth the $25 he's going to charge you during the campaign as an add-on??
Didn't know 90''s patches were back in! I'm sure you'll look extremely cool with this on your backpack TwoPieceFetus

They look a reasonable return to form from JR from my POV. Classic design with USPCC printing - not so keen on the faux aged look, but hey.

Re: Tigers by Kings Wild Project
Rather than artificially age the appearance of these cards, I think they would look fine with the vintage design and without the faux distress. If Jackson really wants a vintage look/feel, then I think it better to try to source a more original vintage card stock and lacquer. That way, the deck would actually feel vintage. That said, that vintage paper and such would handle...poorly, but then those would be more of the "art" decks. Just a thought. Not a great one, but a thought. I just dislike artificially coloring a design to make it look old.

I'm enjoying what I'm seeing here. I especially like the full-bleed back, which I know is not everybody's cup of tea, but I'm glad he's considering offering it as an option.

Re: Tigers by Kings Wild Project
I'm pretty interested in this.
Not a big fan of faux-vintage either, but the designs for both editions are very, very nice. Full-bleed backs are a plus for me, much more so if the deck is USPCC-printed; they're not the greatest with thin borders. And that LE tuck is gorgeous. Depending on how much he asks for them, I'm probably in for one of each.
Although I'd rather he waited for the Maduro decks fullfilment to be completed.

I'm not usually a fan of artificially "aged" designs, but I think it works here. I'll probably get a couple of both editions when it launches.

Re: Tigers by Kings Wild Project
Love retro designs. I'll echo the distaste for artificial aging.
In this case, the former will probably win over the latter.
If there's an option for a non-distressed look, it's a slam dunk. Otherwise I guess I'll let pricing decide.

Kings Wild Tigers go live tomorrow (July 17) on @kickstarter at 7pm central.
From the KWP FB page: https://www.facebook.com/kingswildproject/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
One of the rare launches that's actually at a decent time for those of us on the other side of the world. Sucks for Europe though, but hey, you can't win them all.

Some of us just like to jump in and lock our bid in as a force of habit and training for those that do have really quick EB tiers.
I am looking forward to this one.
Now I am kind of thinking of JR doing a deck for a prominent local winery in the Texas Hill Country or maybe a local craft distillery. Hey, there is a super awesome glass artist in Wimberly...
