Nice looking, lots of color, large vintage looking courts, which I have a soft spot for. Going to get this if this is not too expensive, or maybe try to get one via trade.

Mods, if you wouldn't mind editing the post so that the images show instantly, can't do it myself out of instagram pics, thanks! :D

I like cats and I like JR. If they're priced well then I will have to back them.

Has he indicated at all whether or not this will be a KS or just straight to retail on his website?

I am not a big fan of artificially aging cards by design. It just looks weird to me on a completely new card stock. If you really want to go vintage, then put them on a "vintage" card stock (but then they would handle so bad). Irregardless, I like that JR is doing some new things. I am sure I will buy a couple, but would like to see more cards and more information such as the pricing and such. So far, I like it.

Obviously a refresh of the USPCC Tigers 101 deck (Hochman's US1?) from the 1880's.

Has promise...

Actually from this earlier Instagram post, he says he was inspired by old matchbox art. This seems to be the trend for JR recently with first the Cigar band art and now the matchbox art. From other Instagram posts, he's looking to create an LE deck where the tuck opens and closes like a matchbox. Interesting to see what's next. If the cost is right, I'm in.

It says USPCC on the AoS. If so, that would be big selling point for me. After the Legal Tender debacle, I wouldn't buy anything from Kings Wild that was printed anywhere else.

Matchbox? Maybe in some way, but it is almost a clone of the OG deck made by USPCC when it was still Russell and Morgan Factory in the early 1880's and reissued / reprinted several times.

Tigers101 is a basic old school deck, like the Sportsman 202, Army & Navy 303 and ungilded Congress 404.

You can't call this a restoration because it adds much more color than what was in the original decks.

That tiger on the tuck looks very similar to a pog slammer I had when I was a kid. I wonder if it's still kicking around somewhere?

What about the Sens? A ka The Worst Dumbster Fire NHL Has Ever Seen. I almost feel sorry for them... But nah. I want them to get a bad return on EK65, finish last, win the lottery. Avalanche draft Jack Hughes 1st overall with their pick, Sakic thanks Ottawa Senators, Matt Duchene and Pierre Dorrion before making the selection. Dorrion cries. Hughes wins the Calder. Melnyk drives out of Ottawa before gets hanged, drawn and quartered by the angry mob.
