Free Art Print Download for Bird Lovers

Today's John J. Audubon's birthday - who's John J. Audubon you might ask? well, he's a pretty renowned ornithologist (bird) expert and painter that that created hundreds of super-duper detailed watercolor illustrations produced from hand-engraved plates of North American birds in their natural habitats. It was actually through his observations and documentations that he discovered and identified dozens of new species, for which reasons, his work is still one of the most comprehensive compilations and considered the archetype of wildlife illustration. And today, he would've turned 233 years old with many of his paintings nearing the 200 year mark as well. Anyways, to celebrate the National Audubon Society is celebrating by making available high resolution downloads of some of his work FREE to the public!

yea, too bad I don't have nearly 800 bucks to drop on a reprint but it really is quite pheasant

Unless someone else is willing to foot the bill, I'd have to be content with the free as a bird downloads...

Hold your horses. That $800, is just for a limited edition reprint. I am need to do some more research to fine a true original. Yeah, that is a reprint.
