No, not random. Someone already purchased a tier for #1 and #2 for all LE sets. The next bunch go to the first groups that bought LE sets for all of the planets. I hope those that got 2 LE early sets for all planets get the first of those numbers (which includes me). Sadly, the numbers are higher for the one off LE sets. On the plus side, you get an LE set, which is getting hard to obtain if you don't pledge fast.I got backer number 3! Will you be shipping the limited edition numbered decks by backer numbers? or is it random?
Thanks for the info! I forgot that there were LE sets sold in the Mercury release. I missed that one. Hopefully I can get a Mercury LE at the end. I don't really care what numbers I get but I just thought being backer 3 is kinda cool.Bradius wrote:No, not random. Someone already purchased a tier for #1 and #2 for all LE sets. Congrats on getting #3 backer. I was like an hour late (getting some EB regular sets), and ended up 113.
Still several LE tiers available. Although, as some have said, the regular sets with multiple colors should really look amazing as a set.
I so want this. And this.davegk wrote:Hey guys,
A few notes:
- the backer who pledged for sets #1/2 was unable to keep his pledge due to financial reasons so those 2 LE sets will be available in a special tier during the Neptune campaign.
- sorry about the early launch time in your location...it’s gonna be bad for some people no matter when I launch. FWIW, I’m up at 6am daily since that’s when my 22 month old wakes up :p
- yes, international shipping costs are up a little from the earlier campaigns for 2 reasons...first to account for this year’s postage rates. Second because I’m switching fulfillment providers. Gamblers Warehouse will now be fulfilling both US and international orders. This should result in international orders arriving more quickly, which I’m sure you will appreciate.
- there are plans for a special box for the set. I promise you won’t be disappointed. More details on that coming soon.

I hope next time the infos about date & time will be announced 1-2 days before it launches, and not only 30 minutes before!Ace wrote:Those limited editions went quick.
You will be pleased to know all Vanda series decks are flat-earth compatible in that they are also flat and may be conveniently rested on any planar surface.pstaehlin wrote:Will there be a Flat Earth version?

Launch time was midnight in my case, and i checked UC and my mails this morning (8 hours after launch) the 1+1 were already gone and i was lucky enough to get 2+2 (as i wanted )
Just joined the Vanda mail list, thank you.davegk wrote:Azid wrote:I hope next time the infos about date & time will be announced 1-2 days before it launches, and not only 30 minutes before!Ace wrote:Those limited editions went quick.

I did send out an email 3 days in advance of the campaign with the date/time of launch. Make sure you join the Vanda email list if you haven't already at vandacards.com
There is a special surprise add-on for Pluto in the works and will likely be announced during the final Neptune campaign.vasta41 wrote:I only wish all 8 (should be 9 but I digress) planets came out at once but i do understand that it's probably easier to fund if separated.
It's true that offering the entire set as a pre-order during the first campaign has helped expedite the process for the remaining planets. Currently, the tuckboxes for Earth and Mars are already printed and the Earth deck is printed and being assembled next week along with the Venus deck. Mars artwork is already proofed and on the USPC production schedule and I expect the tucks for the remaining 4 planets to be done within the next few weeks. We're definitely on track to get the whole series out before the holidays!Bradius wrote:I went ahead and backed a full set at the beginning. I am glad David went ahead and sold entire sets at the beginning. Since this is a long series, I would hate to at one point miss one of the limited decks. However, as several have pointed out, the regular issue is really the prettier of the two versions with it's unique tuck color cases. I like the artwork. Except for the insane delays on the Mercury LE decks, this is turning into a nice series. One plus with selling so many of the entire series sets with the first campaign was that it provided up-front funding that allowed David to accelerate the production of the rest of the series. I do hope the series boxes will not be too expensive though.
PipChick wrote:I'm bummed I missed out on the LE of Mercury AND Venus - now I'm worried about aftermarket prices and it has me contemplating if it's even worth the hassle of trying to put together a complete LE set...
This dude already has the LE Mercury deck for pre-order at £105.00...
Anyways, I guess this is my way of sending my wishful thinking out into the universe (or to anyone that reads this and can help a homegirl out) and hoping this post will manifest into luck of being able to get these two decks
Yes, they will likely go quickly. However, their initial sale price was $230 for a single set without shipping or a box. These may be even be slightly more expensive since they were not "pre-paid", and may include the box. At that point, the shipping price will also be known (and so add to the price shock). So, the price point may cause some to hesitate. Keeping in mind that is 16 decks in total (8 LE and 8 Standard). If I remember correctly, there will be 30 LE sets offered during the Neptune campaign for those who missed out during the Mercury campaign. I’ll probably be going for that. But I reckon I gotta be fast to get one of those sets

Really looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with for Mars' artwork, I'm imagining courts with a strong militaristic theme.davegk wrote: It's true that offering the entire set as a pre-order during the first campaign has helped expedite the process for the remaining planets.
