I think we were all eyeing that Lotrek tier - no surprise it went immediately - but the fact that the prize pool is still an embarrassment of riches five claims later makes the future look bright indeed!

Wow, another great year for the playing card community has passed. I want to thank the organizers and the donors for making this contest possible and congratulations to all the participants and winners. This year, again, was very difficult to vote, but the Portfolio52 page was a great help in refreshing my memory.
I think 2018 will be even better in terms of playing cards and I can’t wait to see what will amaze us this year!

Purely for interest sakes, I’ve attached a photo of my votes. Was a real feast or famine year, I tended to either get 3 points or 0 points haha. My very rough count was 29 points or thereabouts.

Hey, Gio, I'll note that if you look at the votes, there were a couple categories where you actually did well, it's just that your votes were split up evenly among three or four of your different projects, which meant you didn't have enough votes for any single project to overcome the one or two other decks by other designers that also did well in that/those category/categories.

I sincerely believe that all the winners were deserving, so this is not a knock on the actual winners of those categories. Rather, it's an observation that your work was also recognized by our voters. It was just... spread out more evenly among your different projects.
