The value of a deck is how much someone is willing to pay for it... that being said the Indiennes Deck i`ve seen listed as buy me now or on retail sites usually are in the £80-£150 ballpark.. but i`ve seen packs listed for much much higher. You could get lucky like me and find them on auction for much much less, i got each of my sets for around £40-£50 each. I know of three different designed decks produced for the Venise-Simplon Orient Express. The first one was printed by Grimaud in 1985, this one is basically a reprint of an earlier Grimaud deck from 1890 titled "Cartes Indiennes" but have indices added. the set comes in a 2-part slide in box and have gilded corners (A common practice with European manufacturers). The second set also printed by Grimaud was produced in 1986, this set comes in a velvet lined leatherette clamshell box with the V.S.O.E logo on the lid. the custom courts depict passengers in 1920/30`s style clothing.
Scans of all the court cards from both the above sets can be seen on Page 2 of the france section in "Woldwide" the third set produced in 1990 has no makers information anywhere on the pack, and various sources have it listed by either Waddingtons or Grimaud. I have nothing concrete to suggest either one. Like the above set this one came in a clamshell box with the V.S.O.E logo on the lid Another copy of the above set but with different back design, This set came in a clear plastic box. Scans of the courts on this set can be seen in the Englsnd section of "worldwide" on Page 3.
