Teemu Pulkkinen looked like a steal after his draft year, and look at how that one turned out.
The biggest draft steal of all-time is getting Nick-f^&*ing-Lidstrom in the 3rd round of 1989. Quite possibly the smartest player to lace up a pair of skates, and a freak of nature. Missing 44 games in 20 seasons... Dominating the league through 3 separate eras...

Tampa Bay is my front-runner for the Cup. They're been inquiring about Mike Green, and if they acquire him, holy crap are they stacked (they already are stacked). A Top-4 with Hedman, Green, Sergachev, and Girardi? Just wow.
Vegas has a legitimate chance of winning it all, too. Gallant is a fantastic coach. Honestly, though, I might hate Marc-Andre Fleury more than I hate the Penguins. And boy, I hate Crosby, Malkin, and Letang. Just a huge bunch of whiners. Should get Jared Leto to play him in the movie (what a God-awful Joker) if they win it.

I don't really have a favorite team, my brother is a die hard Wings fan however Although I have no favorite team, there are a lot of teams that I wish to have success, Avalanche being perhaps the biggest one, followed by Leafs, Capitals, Predators, Blue Jackets, Blues maybe...? Wings I wish success 'cause I enjoy seeing my brother happy and Panthers I would because of Barkov but I really can't 'cause they are so goddamn boring. Then of course just a few teams that I wish nothing good meaning Penguins, Senators and Oilers.

This season Barys Astana, Kazakstans KHL club was having tough time so they fired their coach mid season. The new coach, kid you freaking not, has the team make an offering of a live goat on the ice after the practice. So they honestly bring the goat to the ice, the team gathers around it, they open it's throat with a knife and spray the blood to the goal, "making a blessing" so that other teams would have a harder time scoring against them. I. SH*T. YOU. NOT.
Although I have no favorite team, there are a lot of teams that I wish to have success, Avalanche being perhaps the biggest one, followed by Leafs, Capitals, Predators, Blue Jackets, Blues maybe...? Wings I wish success 'cause I enjoy seeing my brother happy and Panthers I would because of Barkov but I really can't 'cause they are so goddamn boring. All I know is that they lost the Eberle - Strome trade and they absolutely f*cked up on the Hall - Larsson trade. Best thing is: Chiarelli trades away both of his top wingers, signs Lucic to a terrible contract and this season wonders on the media why the Oilers aren't getting enough scoring from the wingers. BECAUSE YOU TRADED BOTH OF YOUR BEST WINGERS, SIGNED AN OLD BUM TO A TOO LONG AND TOO EXPENSIVE CONTRACT YOU IDIOT. And right now he is going: "So what you are saying is, I should trade Puljujärvi?"

My Oilers Franchise Mode was stacked in NHL 17. I traded Lucic for Hall (I freaking HATE Lucic, he's garbage), traded Eberle for Yakupov, so this was my Top 6:

Hall - Nugent-Hopkins - Yakupov
I don't understand... Hall @ $6 million is great. Why the hell trade him away and give all that money to that nose with a face Italy Lucic..? Larsson is great and all, but that particular combination of moves was not good.

They thought that Larsson would be a legit number 1 D, we can see how well that turned out.
Chiarelli should have realised that extremely heavy players like Lucic rarely can maintain their top level after the age of 30. Everybody knew from the get go that Oilers would have problem with that contract in 2 years max.
