I really like the back. The faces aren't terrible, but I've fallen asleep just thinking about them.
That tuck... That's almost at the cusp of so overdone that it comes around to being good again, but not quite. Especially with the hideously tacky CPC logo right in the middle of the tuck. Just a super duper nope.
It's overpriced at $20 with hardly no embossing. They made the redering look like how it does just so people can back it. The backs are supposed to have metallic ink but there's nothing on the backs!
Without it being it's 100th deck design, it's just another typical deck of theirs.

When I don't like something, I pass. No matter who did it, how many were printed or how many (re)colors exist."

I wasn’t particularly planning on breaking the seal on this deck, but hearing that metallic ink wasn’t used really bothers me. Did anyone else open their decks and find the same issue?

It says, metalic color on the back, not metalic ink.

I'm not a big CPC fan either and I'm so happy I avoided these. I cannot stand the word manipulation in playing card advertising. E used to be the king of it but more and more KS projects seem to be doing it nowadays. But the way I feel about CPC is even the sun shines on a dog's ass some days. For every 20 decks they spew out, 1 might be half decent. It's too bad though. If they spent more time on the "winners" and released a few less decks per year they might actually be great decks.
I just received these today also. The front of the box has nice foil. I am guessing the back of the cards looks like the back of the tuck box. I think so I don’t get disappointed, I will just leave them sealed and imagine the backs with lustrous foil.
