very typical of all their other decks but still nice. Starting to get monotonous though...

The tuck is gorgeous - as are most T11 decks. However, that back, given the color of the tuck, is hugely disappointing. I would've loved to have seen the green from the tuck also on the back of the cards. And that one court card that they show...ugh. I always love seeing the card name actually spelled out on the card especially when they don't actually have people on the courts /sarcasm. The aces are ok - minus the spelling out of the card. Overall, really disappointed with this deck.

I think that this bucks their trend a little. They usually produce the finest tucks you can ask for with very underwhelming artistry inside. This is reminiscent of the Contraband cards, which were also designed in the UK, that happen to be one of my favorite decks (maybe easily Theory11's 2nd best behind the Gold Monarchs).

Si suus 'latine est, necesse est esse magnificus.

Edit: If the courts are obscure enough to require printing on them, "This is the King of Spades," then the artwork isn't doing its job.

I hate to be piling on here. I tend to really enjoy T11 decks. This one, though, has a world class tuck for a low rent deck.

And, yeah, what's with putting Latin phrases on decks ad nauseum?

As always, awesome tuck. I hate the fact that the backs are just black and white. Also, the huge white space around the aces look weird to me. I might end up buying it in the near future but I’m not eager to get them right now.

This might be one of the best tucks T11 has ever put out, and that's saying something considering their outstanding pedigree with tuck boxes. As if their tucks weren't blinged enough, T11 started going with two color foiling with their Citizen deck, and continued with their NPH and National decks, and I think the High Victorian is their best dual foiled tuck yet with the gold and green. Let's be real here, if Jackson or anyone else came out with a Kickstarter deck and had a "limited" edition deck with a tuck that looked like any of T11 tucks, they'd be charging anywhere from $16.00 to $30.00+ for it and they would sell out the first day with everyone else complaining they didn't get a shot at over-paying for a "limited" deck.

I really like that T11 has finally moved to full customization, including the courts, however the custom courts for this deck is the only let-down for me. I never liked typography courts, and these are no different, but balanced against everything else positive about this deck, I'll definitely be picking these up.

Wtf @ the courts. If I buy this, I'm never opening it.

I think the courts go well with the theme and are pretty detailed. Rather these than standard recolor. If it's the same people than Contraband, absolute win.

Although I'm not too keen on the topic/era.

I was in my local Target today and saw they added a new Theory11 display in their games section (more detail in the General forum).
On that display I noticed some High Victorian decks but they had a red/gold box instead of the green/gold. Upon opening, they appear to be the same cards as the original but with red backs.
This is not on their website and have not seen it listed anywhere before. Appears they might be doing the same thing they did with the red & green National cards.

That is really interesting. Quick, sell it on eBay for $1,000!

I normally do not like text instead of faces for the courts, but this deck is an exception. I really like it. I just wish Theory 11 would bling the cards half as well as he does the tucks. His tucks really are amazing.

As silly as it may sound, this is basically why I've completely lost interest in T11 decks. Nice as the cards may be on their own, taking the deck out of the box is just really depressing and anticlimactic.

Not big on just recolors, but since the original was black, I like this.

I like the green one better than the red but if I seen the red up close, I might buy.....and never open it.

They replenished the stock at one of my local Targets, again. There's a slick cardboard display now, and they had three of the red decks before I bought them all. ;) That particular Target seems to get a lot of business, though, they seem to sell out and restock on their T11s about every two weeks.

Yes Target has plenty of Theory11 decks like Jimmy Fallon, Citizens, SNL, etc.

I have to say, T11 is really consistent in the quality of their decks. Sure, many of the designs seem similar, but for less than 10 bucks you get custom cards in a nice looking foiled and embossed tuck. Compare them to the crap E has been putting out. These High Victorians are a lovely looking and handling deck. Although for me, nothing beats my Monarchs.

Agreed. The CItizens and Artisans are my favorite T11 decks.
