It's now available for preorder for $15 for a decent back design but standard recolored courts, also shipping is via Fedex only apparently which could get pricey for international customers.

Boring deck for 15 USD, I don't see a single thing that makes this worth my while.

Agreed. The back is okay, I'd probably get one for $7 tops.

Price per deck, international shipping cost, plus the fact that I always, always, always get screwed by FedEx with duty charges. And, of course, their "convenience" fee for "covering the duty for me at the border". FedEx is the absolute worst service. I have zero clue how they're simultaneously the most expensive.

I had in my head that I was going to get four deck when they were announced, but this is just a deal breaker on every level.

Did anyone watch the latest delay update on Chris's YT channel? Apart from the news on 23000 customers placing pre-orders & production being delayed due to challenges in foil, am I right in assuming that USPC might be doing cold stamping or non-metaluxe foil with 1st Playing Cards for the first time. I may be wrong or trying to read too much in between the lines but what do others think.

I find it mind blowing that there's enough demand to print 23,000 decks. I'm not saying the cards are bad but they're just... okay.

I don't think so. They need some kind of raised 3D foil. Cold foil is completely flat on a surface. Also it is hard to apply Cold Foil to a linen paper stock (quality issues).

You're right. I missed that raised foil thing in the video. Now, there have been advances in cold foil application to embossed surfaces but not sure why, this deck's foil process doesn't appear to be metaluxe to me. If it is something else, then it will add to the competition on foiling by other vendors which is definitely good for the consumers.

Hey all, is there anyone who ordered extra decks of these? I’m desperately looking for a deck to do a video review of them as soon as they are available. I’d be happy to give a shoutout on the finished video! Please let me know.

Good luck TwoPieceFeed. I'm sure ebay will gouge you once they are in peoples hands. No after market sales, just the pre-order.

I'll probably pay $20 for them. I normally hate branded/monogrammed designs but for whatever reason I really like these. Anyone asking for more than $20 can go pound sand, though.

If anyone happen to order some extras and would be selling let me know I would be interested but not as some exorbitant price.

I really don’t think that these will be hard to find nor very expensive...there were 23K printed! The retailers will definitely have them, just have to wait. :D

Although they were 23k printed its difficult to predict what price they going to have. Chris Ramsay advertised this as "limited " and "rare" deck so people bought lot of them and in the end ye they are limited, but not that rare.

Chris also said that he wont do any wholesale prces a there wasnt any discount on bulk at all. Also the shipping was expensive as duck especially for INT buyers, because all orders were shipped by Fedex from AoP.

So the point is that the deck was expensive and even wholesalers bought them at least for 15$ + shipping. The price is going to be definitely more than 20$+ ... imo its going to be 25$+ ...

I didnt like the design first, but the look of the deck was ok, but definitely not for 15$ + shipping.

Though he might have said this publicly, I doubt VERY HIGHLY that he did not offer wholesale prices to the big players like Murphy's and AOP...there is NO WAY that he could have sold out 23K at full price...NO WAY. Even David Blaine can't do that and Chris Ramsey doesn't come close to DB. Then again, that's just my opinion and your mileage may vary. In the end, I still believe that you will be able to pick up this deck for less than 20 shipped as the market will be more than saturated when it finally hits the streets.

Well Chris has and "image" of the guy who wouldnt do that, but we will see. To be honest I saw pre-order on one of the largest playing cards shop in Europe for 40-50 euro, but lets see it ... will be clear after wholesalers put their prices.

While David Blaine is no doubt one of the legends of magic. It doesnt mean that he is the best at selling decks. What matters is your fanbase. Apart of David Blaine who is pretty dead on youtube .... Chris Ramsay even he wasnt that succesfull as David Blaine... he has 730k subs on YT and thats a LOT. There are few examples where only your fanbase matters. Zach Mueller (Fontaine) doesnt actually do anything and yet he sells 10k decks in 2 hours if he made the same sale strategy which means making it only time limited I will bet he will sell 20k+ at ease and his price is the same 15$. Asad from 52kards (mint deck) or recently AnyoneWW who sold 5k decks in 4 hours (18$ each).

I believe that Chris wouldnt do that... if he wanted to sell them for wholesale prices. Why would he tell his "fans" that he wont. Its stupid unless he wants to make his supporters angry. Anyways we will see.

I don't like the cutout of "1st" foil revealing the back design. It doesn't really jive. They look about as nice as the V1s, though (which I still haven't procured).
