+1 for me. I didn't even see the gold Spade on Ace as a Spade so removing black ties it nicely to deck name. Agree with all other green check marks.TGunitedcardists wrote:My suggestions would be:
On the Ace of Spades, just leave the gold for the middle and REMOVE the black spade underneath. Gold shape only!
Keep the Ace of Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds how you have them now (WITHOUT the gold in the middle).
The LAST 9 of spades works best. The first two (the one on the left and in the middle don't work at all). Honestly, they are bad. The last one works fine!
EDIT: Tuck looks great. Back design looks great! Fix/change the number cards and Aces and I think you have a winner. Again, the court cards are FANTASTIC.

Re: GOLDEN AGE soon on KS!
I like everything artwork related to this deck. Everything.
I don't have any decks printed by NPCC, so these will be my first. In for 3 decks when it's launched. If a white deck comes out, in for either 4 or 6.

I'm excited to pledge for this project. I'd love to be able to get one of each in the black deck and the Winter Edition.

Re: GOLDEN AGE soon on KS!
This looks amazing. I can't wait.
One thing NPCC does not get enough credit for is that they do killer tuck boxes. I own a large bunch from them, all tuck boxes I have from them are either very nice or spectacular (With the exception of Ebon, it wasn't bad but not as good as I had hoped). That's why I really, really hope that this project hits that 5500 USD mark for foil and embossing on the tuck.TGunitedcardists wrote:I like everything artwork related to this deck. Everything.

Re: GOLDEN AGE soon on KS!
The fact that this is being printed by npcc is the only reason I probably wont back. Every time an amazing deck printed by npcc comes along and I do back I regret it as soon as the cards are in my hands. As fantastic as the art for this deck is, I just cant do that to myself again.

Re: GOLDEN AGE soon on KS!
The artwork and tuck are gorgeous. They are certainly reasonably priced which is getting harder and harder to find these days. However I am also hesitant over the NPCC printing for reasons I have mentioned many times. I still haven't gotten over my disappointment regarding Legal Tender; beautiful art work on crappy stock which does not interest me. I realize you are using a different printer but the reviews I have seen have been similar. I'll be on the fence on this one and hope that something will change my mind.

Re: GOLDEN AGE now LIVE on KS!
So, somehow my brain clouded over the notion that these are actual characters from someone else's world. Any concerns about copyright infringement here? (I don't recall if you can copyright characters' names, but I think with names and likenesses, you're very likely treading all over Mr. Gaiman's intellectual property....)
Wish I'd brought this up sooner, in case it needs to be addressed.

Neil Gaiman and his books inspired me to create this deck, but I didn't use any names of his characters. Hoping a 3rd stretch goal is a printer upgrade?? If not, at least this deck is reasonably priced, considering all the bells, whistles and printer.

Re: GOLDEN AGE now LIVE on KS!
Only issue of this project is the poor printer company, other than that is one of the best decks on KS lately.
@Creator: Could you consider revising the artwork so you could incorporate some traditional aspects of playing cards, like Suicide King (KoH), One Eyed Jack (JoS [already one eyed!] and JoH), One Eyed King (KoD). If you could incorporate this changes in the deck it would be perfect!
Maybe he could even consider printing one deck with USPCC and the other with NPCC or other lesser company.

Yeah, hope that the creator can consider this upgrade if the goal hits a certain value.vasta41 wrote:Hoping a 3rd stretch goal is a printer upgrade?? If not, at least this deck is reasonably priced, considering all the bells, whistles and printer.

I'm thinking of more stretch goals, but in any case I'm a man of my word and I never swap horses crossing the river
Thank you for the ideas about the deck design, maybe I'll revise some details.

Re: GOLDEN AGE now LIVE on KS! (wap)
If you started with a pony but can now switch to a Clydesdale I think you'd be foolish not to. Here's an animal analogy for you- if you're going to be a bear, be a grizzly! I guarantee you that if you were to post about changing printers that not 1 of your current 283 backers would complain. And no one would accuse you of not being a man of your word. Either way I'm a proud backer.Sviatoslav Pashchuk wrote:I'm thinking of more stretch goals, but in any case I'm a man of my word and I never swap horses crossing the river

Re: GOLDEN AGE now LIVE on KS!
So the main reason I backed this deck was because of Gaiman and the Stardust mythology. Since basically this deck has nothing to do with both those things, I decided to back out. Your art is very good though . I wish you luckSviatoslav Pashchuk wrote:Neil Gaiman and his books inspired me to create this deck, but I didn't use any names of his characters. Who will be handling the fulfillment (packaging and shipping) of this project?
This is my only remaining concern on this first-time succeeding Kickstarter project.
I'll feel a lot more comfortable if a well-respected Fulfillment company is going to make sure these get packed and shipped correctly.

Will, I'm responsible for the fulfillment of this project and of course I'm the most concerned that the pledges get packed correctly and shipped on time. Re: GOLDEN AGE now LIVE on KS!
This extra card is AWESOME! One little thing I notice is the title at the bottom. Does it read "Blact Heart"? I'm assuming it's "Black Heart"? The font for the letter "k" and "t" look very similar and a bit confusing. ...in my respectable opinion.
