bee stock smooth finish?

Unread post by darkinertia »

i really hate to make a new thread just to ask this question, but i didnt see anywhere else i could ask this question..

i love smooth finish cards like the wynns and golden nuggets, but i just got the fultons casino ivory finish and its one of my favorite handling decks right now. is there a deck out there that has smooth finish with a bee casino stock? i cant tell for sure, but im thinking the fultons are aristocrat, which are nice, but i would like to know what a new smooth finish bee casino stock would feel like.

and while im on this subject, ive been trying to compile a list of all the decks i can, with information on stock, finish, etc...has someone done this already and im just wasting my time?

how do you think they handle? it would be awesome to not have to go out and buy $20-30 wynns and just pick up CARC acorns instead lol

As far as I know, Wynns and GNs have dimpled, Air-Cushion-like finish, not smooth....

As for the Ivory finished CARC decks, awesome stock and they handle ok out of the box, but tend to clump rather quickly after some hard use like almost every other smooth finished deck does.

I concur with alric on the CARC deck handling.

My favorite smooth finish deck is some old Tally Ho's from the 80's (I think). They're so awesome. In fact, I'm gonna go play with them right now :D

Smooth Tallys?! Didn't know they exist. I'm guessing they are pretty difficult to find? Does it say smooth finish on the box? Or was it one of those "mistake" decks?

I got the last of pokerstud's (at least I think it was him) stash, along with a few regular Ohio ones he was selling back on old UC.net a while back. The box feels slightly different as well, with a slightly more faded color. I think I have 3, all red fan backs. Box says Linoid finish just like the regular ones.

Maybe Andrew could shed some more light on these if he sees this :)
