Original LUXX®: Redux Edition

Our final release of the original LUXX design will be released in 2017. With a few tweaks, a new tuck (same design as Palme and Elliptica - we're aiming for the same thickness as the original's though - watch this space) and three eye-popping new colours we think we're on to a winner!

This will be the very last release of the original design, and will be the only one that we may consider reprinting in the future. We're also looking into a gilt edge set to be ready at launch (red, green and blue foiling) but that's in the early stages right now.

This final release also includes a brand new joker design (and yes, two of them! )

I also just wanted to say a big thanks to Randy for everything he's done along the way, he's a dream to work with!

First thing I did this morning was check in on the latest and this is the first thing I saw. The colors and design woke me right up. I really look forward to these. Great job so far.

They were initially planned to be printed before these, but things are moving a bit slower.

We are printing just red and blue for now, i'm sure there will be those that say if we're going to print the green eventually why not do it now - but the simple fact is they're much more expensive to print and produce than they were, add to that the weak pound and all of a sudden it's a much more costly exercise. It was either print 2 or use Kickstarter, which we resisted.

We're working on blue and red gilt edge editions for launch and will have some images for you as soon as we can!

So this probably won't please some people unfortunately, but we've changed our strategy for this LUXX release and we're trying a one colour print run. We can't get a blue foil to match properly with the cards (that we're happy with at least) so we're going to go with the red only.

The card market is saturated now (as most of you now) and so we don''t want to take any risks, we're going with a 1k print run and then we'll see how it goes.

We haven't looked in all honesty. Green, yellow and purple never seem to match red or blue in terms of popularity. We'll go with one and then expand the range if it's a popular version of the deck (the one colour backs/foil, etc).
