I love how T11 says "Not massive - last time, they sold out in < a week! Before that, 16 hours!" Maybe from the T11 site but I just got the Copper deck at Art of Play last week. I bet they won't be that rare and limited.

Limited edition doesn't necessarily mean small numbers, 5000 or 10,000 is still a limited edition, as its a cut off as to how many decks are printed, as it won't be printed over and over again. Limited Edition is thrown around so much, peoples expectation is that it should be a really low number, but that's never the case. It's reality vs expectation, i suppose.

I still stand by my comment "of the rarest of the rare" - that's referring to the original, which was rare. I believe it wasn't publicly sold, or was it?! I can't remember. I do remember that they had it in their Elite Archive. The only other way to get them, at the time, were if you were to spend $100 or something at the Rarebit speakeasy lounge.

I suppose people will interpret that sentence differently

The copper ones aren't rare at all, they can be found just about everywhere at typical resale prices for a large production company like T11's deck

I don't think they were actually sold, I'm pretty sure they were just given away if you spent more than x amount. For some reason, $100 is coming to mind. T11 Archive definitely had them, it's in the depleted item section of the archive.

Th e Rarebit is a speakeasy here in downtown Charleston. Some people who came to the 52+Joker convention in 2014 went there for dinner.

It was never sold, but yes, if you spent $100 in one trip they gave you one until about a year (two?) ago.

It was actually a late lunch -- Paul, Jackson, me and ... I can't remember the fourth right now.
I happened to have a Fed 52 deck with me and we were able to pull a trade to get three decks total with just a bit of negotiation. I still got mine. Nice deck. Great company. Paul captured the moment here:

500 original rarebits were offered by T11 in addition to being given out at the restaurant, I ended up getting 2 from T11 as they were given out when you placed an order of $50 or more. They also placed some in the archive which sold out before I could get enough points to pick one up.

I'll be getting at least one of these if for no other reason than to have a complete set.

How else is foil applied to a card if not directly? I'm being serious because I thought foil was always "stamped' on.

IMO T11 is over-hyping this using E-like descriptors ("revolutionary", "real metal" as opposed to fake metal?, "directly")- all unnecessary adjectives to simply describe what is most likely USPCC's MetalLuxe but will still be a cool deck.

Yea but they arent just marketing to hardcore collectors like us you need to remember. There are a lot of people who dont know what MetalLuxe is that see this.

Regardless of how they market it, I am a sucker for foil backs and will need to pick these up tomorrow!
