Re: Tally Ho Pearl Edition from KWP
Ya I will probably end up selling them. He could engrave the African wood or do something cool like paint it or something to it, instead of just slapping a seal on it , just something anything to make it worth the money, and to make it a true LE. I mean that's just me as a designer I would go all out and would put a signature touch on everything from the cards-tuck-wood case-seal. For all we know he could put any deck in the case cause nobody's going to tear open a wood case of only 50 made.

Re: Tally Ho Pearl Edition from KWP
Actually there are 250 gilded decks you have to count the Legacy ones.Cheffboii wrote:Sms69x
He does say only 200 gilded, but if you take a closer look at the picture it says 100? Very confused
About the picture probabily he doesn't want to re-edit it in photoshop.. too much work I guess.

Re: Tally Ho Pearl Edition from KWP
Originally there was 100 in the graphic but the total added up to 120, and another 100 were intended for the KS "100" project (not including another 50 legacy decksthat are indeed gilded). That was changed to 200 gilded decks total available + 50 more Legacy (gilded, also).sms69x wrote:Actually there are 250 gilded decks you have to count the Legacy ones.Cheffboii wrote:Sms69x

You're in luck!! The project hasn't funded yet so if you are regretting backing it you can just back out and someone who really likes the design and is excited about it can have a chance to get one. You're welcome!

Re: Tally Ho Pearl Edition from KWP
If anyone out there has a pledge at one of the 2x Gilded deck levels (E1 or F1) and would prefer a Legacy pledge (G1 tier), please PM me.
I messed up when pledging, and didn't notice the supplementary Kickstarter dialog and hence missed out. (But did get one of the additional Legacy slots that JR added).

Re: Tally Ho Pearl Edition from KWP
My biggest concern regarding this project is the Pearlescent gilding, will this be possible?? I've asked it on KS but JR as usual has a lot to do besides manage his campaign. So do anyone here have an idea if this will be doable? With JR one can not be sure anymore if what is promised is what will be delivered, so I would rather be sure that it will be possible, otherwise will cancel my gilded pledge and will be more than happy with a standard...

JR's reply about Pearlescent gilding:
"The Pearlescent gilding is possible. It is a new option given by the United States Playing Card Company."

Re: Tally Ho Pearl Edition from KWP
I'm curious if that's the same or similar type of gilding used in GW's Alloy campaign?
EDIT: Nope! I'm dumb- Alloy was printed by EPCC.

I would think it would be similar to the Prism Gilded deck done by CPC - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/21 ... ying-cards

It is, indeed, possible and if USPCC is manufacturing the deck, it means they will get the best Pearlescent leaf foil or powder available for gilding.sms69x wrote:My biggest concern regarding this project is the Pearlescent gilding, will this be possible?? Personally with Jackson's stuff, I've come to believe it when I see it. I seriously doubt a Pearlescent gilding will be implemented. Though hey if it does happen I'll be the first to eat my words but ya know I'm still waiting on that special offer for UC members that Jackson said he'd give us along with all the other empty promises.

Has anyone received their legacy deck yet? Mine didn't come with the other 2 decks I received today. Also the printing on the gilded tuck is off by a mile wtf.

Re: Tally Ho Pearl Edition from KWP
Tell that to my Texas Legacy Deck w/ Gilded Special Edition set I have on eBay. I've listed it a few times without it hitting a reserve of 100. Finally have it on a listing that started at 99 cents and no reserve. Current bid is like $11. Someone will get it for a good price probably.badpete69 wrote:got my decks today.. BTW - I will eat my words, looks like the pearlescent gilding did come through. Kudos to KWP and USPCC for pulling that off.

Got my deck, no complaints. Looks very nice. The gilding looks more metallic than pearl- like but I don't give a damn because it's shiny.
Out of the 4 Tally Ho decks, Black Diamond is my favorite Ho.

Anyone have any shots of the gilding? It's probably very difficult to capture, but I'm curious to get an idea of what the inside of my deck that I'll never open looks like.

Does anyone else have the Limited Tuck box look a little off? The foiling is very noticeably off on mine. I'll show you what I mean.
These pictures are from Portfolio 52 and look normal:

I got two decks. One looks fine, but the other one (#788) looks just as bad as yours. Please let me know if you get any response from Jackson.
