There's also a marked version of the great whites (I'm assuming the first ones weren't marked). I was thinking of getting these but maybe it might be cheaper through an online retailer instead.

Well it's the same cost through Davenports, don't think it will be much cheaper anywhere else. Also it's hard to find DMC decks outside those 2 sites.

About to place an order anyone want one?

EDIT: I just placed an order for 3 decks. For 1 deck the shipping was the same as 3 decks. So 1 deck was costing $30 US (about). With 3 decks cost is down to $21 a deck. i did not get the Great white marked deck way too expensive and i have 2 of the original great white decks anyway. I will sell at least one of the DMC Black Gold maybe 2. Anyone who wants one just PM me

Are these two different decks? From those pictures it looks like it doesn't have the word "Elite".

Thanks my friend for the heads up. I have every DMC deck in my collection and they tend to be hard to get after they sell out. Just picked up a couple. And to answer your question those are brand new and different than the previous deck

You have the Sharks deck which took me forever to find (got lucky on ebay one day) The thread can be found here

You have the Great white deck next. Then months later that was followed by the Great white marked deck

You have the Black & Gold Marked deck last year that was followed by the Elite version this past week

That is all I know about. If there are others then I do not have them. The reason I think there might be another deck is the vanity fair picture on the DMCmagic website. I do not recognize that card back.

Maybe but one thing's for sure is like Pierre said, they do sell out fast. Years ago I waited (for some reason) before I wanted to buy the Sharks deck and when I was ready to pull the trigger, no more Sharks deck

Pre-order is not an indication of quantity printed usually for DMC. Since they are shipping next week I would say the quantity has long been determined. get them while you can

Hi guys, Phill here - the new DMC ELITES:ROUGE decks are on sale now at http://www.sovereignplayingcards.com and there should be stock for a long time so no rush. Penguin magic also have a lot of stock, and are shipping from the US so if you are in that part of the world, you can save some dollars on shipping with them.

Penguin also have an interview with DMC, and a hands on with the deck from Card Club Capitan Kevin Reylek, which is interesting if you like that kind of stuff. A few reviews have started to come in for the Rouge deck, and they seem to be very positive, which is nice.
