Re: NPH (Neil Patrick Harris by Theory11)
I figured it would be a NPH deck with the hints they'd been giving out through twitter. Picked one up with elite points I had.
Speaking of... think T11 will be bringing back their wheel o fun this year?

Re: NPH (Neil Patrick Harris by Theory11)
Great looking deck. I really like the artdeco style card back and that is an outstanding AoS in my opinion. I'll have some of these winging their way to me shortly too.
Brilliant! I should use up some of my elite points as well. I think it wouldn't be the holiday season without the Wheel so I really hope they do bring it back. I may be part of the minority here, but I love spinning with a cup of coffee in the morning. Spin Spin, sip sip, Spin Spin, sip sip, order some circle backs (My most used deck) so I can spin some more.chach wrote:I figured it would be a NPH deck with the hints they'd been giving out through twitter. TL:DR It's completely up to you.

What is this 'wheel of fun' I'm hearing about? I wasn't a collector yet this time last year.

It's more like a wheel of disappointment JK It's actually a pretty cool (free) contest that allows you to spin a wheel once every 24 hours for a chance to accrue Elite Points or free decks.shaitani wrote:What is this 'wheel of fun' I'm hearing about? I wasn't a collector yet this time last year.

Although I'm not used to this concept of "free", that doesn't sound like the world we're in right now.

Hence the disappointment- many users here reported only getting 50-0 points per day MAXshaitani wrote:Haha, that does sound fun, I hope they bring it back this year then.vasta41 wrote:It's more like a wheel of disappointment JK It's actually a pretty cool (free) contest that allows you to spin a wheel once every 24 hours for a chance to accrue Elite Points or free decks.

Re: NPH (Neil Patrick Harris by Theory11)
I think the wheel is the best promotion out there because it is actually free. (You hear that e?) Last year's wheel was rough, which just means less free stuff than previous years. (And if you have the itch, just buy a $0.99 trick off the Wire.)
I will probably hold off on the NPH decks until BF. If previous years are any indicator, Friday's promo will run from 11am to 11pm (get it? theory 11, heh heh). Free premium decks for hitting certain amounts. Then about a week later the wheel begins (and ends at the end of the year).
Depending on the offer, the BF special is a great chance to catch up on tricks. Last year I picked up Overstuft, Amazebox, Break, Sleeper and Revolution - selling the Gold Monarchs effectively made the tricks free!

I won a Bicycle Steampunk deck, I didn't believe it when it happened lol, I attached a link below from Jimmy Kimmel at 8:55 they show his cards and NPH comes out and does a trick with them, just though I would share

David Blaine does that trick often that NPH did on the show. Thank yall for reminding me to use the Elite pts I almost forgot. Came to $3 off. Another thing is that the courts haven't been seen.

Re: NPH (Neil Patrick Harris by Theory11)
Kinda weird how they didn't mention Theory11 at all. Only when they showcased the deck in the beginning does it say Theory11 underneath, which didn't resemble their logo at all, and no website or anything.ryansworld4 wrote:I won a Bicycle Steampunk deck, I didn't believe it when it happened lol, I attached a link below from Jimmy Kimmel at 8:55 they show his cards and NPH comes out and does a trick with them, just though I would share

Re: NPH (Neil Patrick Harris by Theory11)
Also a bit disingenuous to say 'proceeds' go to RED, as it's actually $1 per deck. Unless, that is he sells them elsewhere and give all profit to them, but theory11 clearly state $1 a deck.

There's a puzzle (or several!) involved with the deck.Talisman wrote:What are you referring to?Stepchild wrote:At the risk of being too on the nose, is anyone else playing? I am stuck.

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.

Although all USPCC decks have a distinct feel from other makers like LPCC/EPCC and Fournier, not all USPCC decks feel exactly the same.

Re: NPH (Neil Patrick Harris by Theory11)
I finally popped it open and was victorious myself today, but I can't help but feel like there's more to it that I'm not seeing. I feel like there were a couple of things that weren't used in the puzzle but were definitely purposely part of the deck. I don't know how much more time I'm going to spend examining things, but I do hope someone else is able to find out if there's something more.hikeeba wrote:Got my deck today. Experienced Victory.

Re: NPH (Neil Patrick Harris by Theory11)
I'm not sure what more there is. There's some stars and stripes unaccounted for (although they fit the general design). The stages were similar to what t11 has done in the past and what tbc did for the Altruism deck. But, who knows.....maybe. Could be different passwords?

Re: NPH (Neil Patrick Harris by Theory11)
The wheel is back! Lots of good looking stuff on there, I'd honestly be surprised and very happy if it ever landed on anything other than Nothing, Respin, 50, 100 in this entire event. Buuut the gambler in me is excited. My first spin hit 100, so... setting a reminder for tomorrow and every day after until the end of the year, wooo!

Re: NPH (Neil Patrick Harris by Theory11)
This thread got quickly hijacked by a discussion of T11's holiday wheel spinning.
Has anyone else noticed that these are by the same artist as The Rarebit and MailChimp? It's Jay Fletcher working for FuzzCo here in Charleston again. Much improved with this deck, methinks. (not that MailChimp or Rarebit was bad -these are just better...) Truly nice AoS!
