Hey Bruno It`s great to see someone else appreciates my Waddies :ugdance: :ugking: OOps sorry i didn`t notice i had the deck upside down
Here`s a Bancks Brothers Bezique deck from 1865-1890.The court cards are pretty crude compared to other manufacturers designs at that time.
1288.JPG
A couple of Albino Dragon decks.
1289.JPG
A deck from the Canary Islands, i`ve no information on these yet sorry.
1290.JPG
And a double set from Waddingtons to finish today. Although waddintons had there own Tartan series from the early 1930`s onwards, the back designs on this pack were inherited from De La Rue and used used by waddingtons after their take over in 1969. The decks are also from different dates ,the Macgregor back has the Amalgamated ace used from 1969-1971 and the Anderson back has the first Waddingtons version of the Ace used between 1971-1974.

:D Hey Bruno T`aint no thing :P

Albrecht Drurer....Brilliant, his woodcuts are out of this world.

I was reading up on my circular cards by the master P.W c.1500 for the worldwide, and it seems that master P.W ,a contemporary of durer`s, was highly influenced by his works especially his animal sketches. The copperplate cards by Vigil solis c.1544 are also influenced by durer`s works especially the horses and riders of the court cards.
Will see those two decks in the Worldwide Time Machine shortly.

"Jeu des drapeaux" or "Game of flags", This deck was originally produced by Galleaux of France in 1814 and has been reprinted many times by many manufacturers over the years. This Limited Edition pack was printed in 1977 by Edizione del Solleone di Vito Arienti.
1300.JPG
A pair of Egyptian decks titled "Abul Sembel" printed by Moharrem Press Alexandia ,One Red back and one Blue and came in a nice leather box.
1301.JPG
"Chichikov & Co." produced by Alexsey Orleansky in 2011 and illustrated by P. Boklevsky. This Russian deck is a companion deck to the "Dead Souls" deck i showed in an earlier post, and it shows more illustrations by the same artist based on characters from the Dead Souls Novel by Nikolai Gogol.

Very cool ace in that Cutler deck Jase!
Mad capering figures everywhere, and touches of colour. Nice find.

And the antique decks....and the round Fournier  ... it's always a pleasure viewing your thread .

**update October 1
Forgot to mention that your Comedia del Art set looks like prints made from the engraved plates. You can see an indent in the paper around each image. I also love the courts in the Jeu Henri IV. Great find.

I`ve been eagerly waiting for this very cool kickstarter to arrive. Cryptic Cards designed by Immy Smith and Printed by Carta Mundi. i originally backed for a 66 card deck ,but with the change of printer (due to the original printer trying to pass inferior tuck boxes onto Immy  ) that didn`t do 66 card decks, i choose to get a book (which has pictures of the extra cards from the 66 card deck) and an extra deck instead.
