We at Penguin are so proud to have teamed up again with Natalia Silva for a fantastic holiday deck.
After working with her on the Christmas deck, we took a similar transformation-style approach to creating the Halloween deck, which is now available for preorder over at Penguin. We have single deck, 3-pack, and 12-pack levels, each of which ship absolutely free in the US.
Check out some photos and a hands-on video at the link below.

These cards are awesome! I kind of wish the tuck had some labeling to it but still like it nonetheless.

Newbie Question Time!
I thought transformation decks required the pips to be an integrated part of the image, not just be located aroung an image. Is that true?
Because I see he says it's a "kind of" transformation deck. But strictly speaking, its not a transformation deck, right?

Hey Pablo, great question!
Yes, my understanding is the same as yours, that Transformation decks typically have the pips as an integrated part of the image. That's why I classify this deck as "transformation-style" since some of the cards do have that integration, but others do not. Since it's a bit of a mix, I wouldn't flat out call it a transformation deck. But I'd love to hear other folks weigh in on that.

This wouldn't be considered a transformation deck, I wouldn't even call it transformation-like with only a few of the pips used in the image; just a playful custom design.
It's considered a 'Semi-Transformation Deck' if the all of (Or I would argue at least most of) the pips are incorporated into the image but their placement is altered, where a true or 'full' transformation deck requires that the pips be in their 'standard' placement on the face of the card AND incorporated into the image. Though the term transformation came from the fact that the pips would be, more than just incorporated, 'transformed' by the art into something that is a part of the image, for example a spade pip would be the end of an illustrated shovel, or a club pip used as the nose of an illustrated dog's face.
