Hi all!

I bring up this thread because I wanted to share with you this great news

Disney Motion Picture chose the 4 Kings from Heretic Playing Cards for the movie "Magic Camp". I do not know all the details, but I guess they will be used for the scenography of a room of the magic camp, as paintings hung on the wall. That´s what I understood so far.
About the movie:
The most recent version of the script is by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand and centers on Andy (Adam Devine), who at the urging of his former mentor and Magic Camp owner Roy Preston (Jeffrey Tambor) returns as a counselor to the camp of his youth hoping to reignite his career. Instead he finds inspiration in his ragtag bunk of rookie magicians.
Former Disneyland magician Steve Martin worked on an early draft of the script as was in negotiations to star, but he no longer is involved in the project.
The movie is in production at the moment, and the estimated release is in April 2017

From Stockholm17 private collection and archive: Heretic Noctis Prototype00 2012 design N°4 of 5.

This prototype was produced in 2013, featuring face designs from 2012. A total of 5 prototypes were made in 2013 and printed by a print-on-demand service in Italy. Unfortunately, the cards have a bad cut on the round corners and are printed on regular paper with a semi-glossy finish resulting in darker colors. However, this prototype served as the first test which eventually led to a complete redesign of the deck.

The tuckbox is designed to open at the bottom, despite the presence of the old S17 Private Reserve sticker on the top (which is from 2015). Additionally, a signature can be found on the top of the tuckbox.
