I agree, but that lens or whatever it is in the middle still ruins it for me.Evan wrote:Now that I see what the cards actually look like printed, they don't look so bad!

I think the orb in the middle is a necessary evil. It may not look too appealing to some, but on the other hand it gives the design an epicenter to focus on. Like a source of the waves or where the waves are flowing to. Cards tend to always look even better in person. So, even though we have pics of the actual cards, I still feel the product will look even better.

"Printed on Prime Casino Stock with the brand new Skulkor Exclusive Performance Caoting to finish up with true slickness. These coating takes one extra process, and can only apply on 1000 decks at a time. Each card runs just the right friction to creat the perfect sesation for your fingertips." - Skulkor
Umm... what do you guys think of this? I don't buy it.

Re: NEW DECK- Ogma Deck from Skulkor
The people at Skulkor have great talent in their video production, that was a very nicely done video. The deck is certainly unique but not for me. Their marketing language is a little over the top I think and I don't buy this new exclusive coating thing. USPCC doesn't invent new things very often and I imagine at least one of the other designers in the world would be aware of a new option in coatings if it existed. I certainly haven't heard anything.
At least they toned down the insanity of the brotherhood stuff this time around.

I like that optical effect while moving in circles.
Paul, which stock/finish do you think they will actually use according the weird publicity stock/finish description? something like Bee stock with magic finish?

They confirmed that it is Bee Casino stock. I'm going to guess that it is Magic Finish.max wrote:I like that optical effect while moving in circles.

Re: NEW DECK- Ogma Deck from Skulkor
My order of 3 decks which was placed on October 1st has not been proceeded so far.....its a joke or?
At David "Lazy rip you off at shipping " Blaine shop takes 3 days to process a order and i thought this was lazy.
BMPoker sends out within 24hrs after you had placed your order....and they ship out plenty of packages each day.

Re: NEW DECK- Ogma Deck from Skulkor
I think ogma deck looks better than skulkor deck. And ogma is a deck that I will surely buy!
Simplicity is beautiful.
Re: NEW DECK- Ogma Deck from Skulkor
I find the whole idea of an optical illusion to be quite interesting on a deck of cards. However, I also feel that using this deck for more than 15 minutes or so can become quite bothersome on the eyes. To those who have this deck, have any of you gotten any headaches from extensive use? I agree with Max about the optical effect when moving the card in a circular pattern. Normally we have seen riffling or spinning of cards to be bringing a deck to life but this deck has figured out another way of capturing that energy.
