So, I take it this is being made from USPCC Asian division. It's nice to see a good full bleed back. Just think of all the pretty colors besides blue you can make with this, but the gold faces on the courts turned to mush. If you look at the Joker's face it has some slight pixelated black in it and gave it a bit of contrast. Sometimes to much gold is a bad thing.

Actually, they are made in the US with the Metalluxe technology and being distributed by their sister company/agent in China. Apparently, they are being shipped from the US to China (in small batches so it seems) and the next shipment comes in next month...I'll update more when I can.

Kinda agree about the gold

I'm tired of the same ol' blue and red, these will look great in green.

Me and my friends grabbed a few as well, from the same place.

I think Sherman has provided some info regarding the deck already. Thus here I just upload some pictures in case some of you are interested to have a look.

It seems that the wordings on the flip has been changed in comparing to the first one offered in eBay a month before.

Unread post by anwar »

I saw the Royal Bee Premium Back No. 168 Playing Card deck at Ebay. Unfortunality, the were all ready sold out.

I really like this deck, but I can't found any information about those playing cards. So could guys please tell me more about this amazing deck of cards.

I appreciate it and thank you so much in advance!

This is one of my favorite decks ever. The gold inks on every card especially the courts pops unlike any other deck I've seen. I want more colors of these, they could also do a silver ink version.

Any chance you could take some pictures of all the cards? I really want to look at each card individually, for the reasons you mention. Most of the images so far have been partially obscured, or glamour shots.

If I think of it and make time I would show a few but the few cards above does do it justice. No need to second guess about getting this deck if you want it.

shermjack wrote:Hey Folks, just an update...the Royal Bees were released early this week in a very limited quantity (only 90 were released) and purchases were limited to 6 decks per person and unfortunately the 6 decks I picked up are all accounted for. :? I was told by the China USPCC Agent (which is a sister company of Jarden and the main distributor for USPCC) that they will get in more stock next month, but he didn't say when or how many...nor did he tell me how many total decks were printed. The decks are gold foiled on both the front and back.

The decks are selling for 198RMB or around 31USD, so to be honest, the eBay listing is not to unreasonable for anyone who wants to get the deck now. I am pretty confident that I can pick up at least another dozen or 2 decks when they are released, but as I said, if anyone is interested in getting one NOW, then getting them off eBay at the current price of 41USD including shipping is not bad. As I may have mentioned, I am currently in China and will not return to the US until late July, so I will not be able to ship anything that I get until then, but those that have purchased from me in the past know that I will do my best to get you your deck as soon as possible in the best condition as possible.

Here's a picture of some decks...sorry, I have not had the nerve to open a deck yet, but will probably do so when I pick up more decks. :D

Good News! The ship has just arrived and more Royal Bee decks are available!

I am now officially taking orders for Royal Bee decks :ugdance: ... they will be sold at a little above cost at 32.5 each plus shipping...limit 2 per person.

For those in the US, I will ship via USPS and for those international, I will ship via China post, which will take some time, but so far everything I sent has arrived safe and sound (I will have to get a quote for international before I can ship). US orders will not ship until late July

Anyone interested, send me a PM.

I order them directly from the China USPC Agent, which is actually a sister company of the Jarden Group...they had these decks made especially for China and are the only source for the decks. I don't know what the entire production run is, but there were 90 decks released initially and now another 200 have been released

Good luck with that

The Royal Bees are printed with Metalluxe technology and thus are foiled on both the front and back of the cards...I doubt they will ever sell below 30USD.

The backs are good but don't seem Metalluxe to me, comparing them to the gold Metalluxe deck I have.

There's no way the JoS in the 3rd post is metalic ink. It must be foil.

Exact same though

The back isn't supposed to have any foil, only the front (page 4)
