Now You See Me 2 / New Monarch Ltd Ed from Theory 11

Didn't see this posted yet, but according to Theory 11's Instagram page they're releasing another recolour of the Monarchs that also has branding for the movie Now You See Me 2. Since I have a few of each of the previous monarchs I'll pick some up, gotta keep the collection complete after all, which I'm sure T11 is banking on with all these Monarch releases.

And on that note, *insert comments of, "Another recolour? Geez did Madison go back to Theory 11?", "Standard Monarch courts, meh.", "Another Monarch deck? THIS will surely cause the playing card bubble to burst." and "Don't care but I still wanted to post that I don't care so you all know that I don't care." here.*

Oh, also forgot the comment, "WTF is Now You See Me?"

Really though... that looks like a dark silvery/steely/bluey Monarch deck which could look reaaaalllyyy good. I'm kindof excited to see more.

For some reason I thought they had a blue monarch already but don't see it in heir sold out section. But it does have the potential of looking really really nice

Now You See Me 2, is the sequel to the 2013 movie 'Now You See Me' with Morgan Freedman and Woody Harrelson. Monarchs were featured in the first and they have created this special edition to go with the movie.

I remember when this movie came out they were handing decks out downtown the week the movie came out to promote it, its a cheap deck nothing special just thought I would share.

Doesn't look any blacker than their regular blue Monarchs, in fact it looks almost the same as regular Monarchs. Hopefully, fingers crossed, it will be the last Monarchs for some time! We can always hope right? lol

ahaha I hope they do,I live downtown so I will def be on the look out and asked a few people to let me no if they hear anything, I doubt ill see them but ya never know, I did pick up one deck though.

Looks like the Bicycle Spirit Blue to me Picked up a bunch...I like the silver better than the gold

They don't say anywhere that they are blue. They are black and silver.. I think some get confused with the movie blue filter

Well, as for back design, it seems just a simple black and white, nothing spoecial from all other monarchs.. THe tuck box tho.. seems really cool!

Is it an error in the T11 webpage or did they rerelease the NYSM 2 Monarch deck? The product page no longer says Sold Out and I could check out the decks. Didn't buy yet. Anyone know anything about this?

Don't these usually go for like $40+ on eBay? /r/PlayingCardsMarket always seems to hype them up way beyond what I imagine they would be worth.

edit: FYI, you can't add them to a variety box, which is usually only the case for newer decks and those priced above $9.95. I would assume you're right in assuming that it's a mistake.

Hah, so it's confirmed an error. Let's see if they refund you or send you all 4 Monarch colors.

If they do send you NYSM 2 decks, can I cop 1 deck from you?

Maybe, just maybe they found 4 of them in the backroom and I got them! I will keep you posted. It has not been canceled yet but I do expect it to be. Maybe I can ask them to send me 4 of the new LotR gold decks as replacement!

Surprisingly, I just received a tracking number. The label has been created but it has not necessarily shipped. Once I see progress in the tracking, I will start believing I am getting them.

Good point. Mine says label created as well. Looks like it is coming from Gambler’s Warehouse. I guess we will see what happens once they check their inventory.
