Pink Fontaines

Unread post by jerichoholic »

While everyone else keeps on pumping out magnificent decks, even Madison's newest deck looks like an improvement over his old decks, Zach Mueller keeps on putting out the same old crap. I don't mind pink, but i'm getting tired of Fontaine decks, and at $15 plus $16 shipping it's a pass for me. Already people on Facebook are asking for green and who knows what other colours, enough already! Stop giving this guy your hard earned money, he hasn't earned it, not with his lack of effort.

Well isn't this a great way to attract customers? lol, not. Last thing I want to see is his tongue.

I like the pink, may try to get one if I don't forget by the end of typing this. Why are the Mundaines not actually being printed? I'm still confused, because I would really love to get my hands on a brick of so of them... Wait.. There was something I was supposed to remember..?
...
Eh.. Probably wasn't worth remembering I guess..

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.

I actually think pink looks really good on the fontaines but I'm going to have to pass on $15 a deck.

Not enough of these  from me to stop laughing out loud at that comment!

I don't understand the attraction of a color change need to have a deck. Sure JR can make as many Tally-Ho decks as he wants but at least he changes the back designs, uses Metal-Luxx, etc. That I'm Fanboy for.
Move on, nothing to see here.

I have been out of the card game for some time now, was slowing down with it all when the red fontaines came out and so never purchased any but i have just gone ahead and ordered 2 of these. I dont think that it matters if zach created the design in 2 minutes or 2 years, there are many simple deck designs out there that go unnoticed because they dont have that something. Eitherway... each to his own.

I like the design as well, and the pink is nice. But I think the issue most people have is the arrogance that Zach has toward his design and the fact that he treats each color change as a brand new-groundbreaking product. I like the Fontaines, but I don't like Zach's ego.

I can understand that yes. I guess I haven't been around to see much of what's going on with Zach or his attitude but yes as far as the deck goes I like it.

On that note, the are now sold out on his website.

CRAZY! So many good decks hardly get a notice and this deck, a re-color of a minimalist deck that has no bells and whistles whatsoever, sells out at 15 bucks a pop! Must be nice to have that many fan boys with money

I have to agree there but I did pick up a couple decks just because I had the other 3 colors. Looks like they are asking between $50 and $80 on ebay but not sure they will sell at that price. They just came in this past week and I have to admit I had totally forgot i had bought these .

I saw this as well, ended up getting one, figure this is the best price I will get on these. Should have just gotten one when they released.
