This is my first series of custom playing cards! It took many months to create. I had a lot of fun putting everything together. Looking forward to creating a 2nd deck soon! The 1st picture above is a sample of what the Steam Riot cards look like Let me know what you guys think??

Welcome! Since this theme isn't my style I won't say much about the card faces other than it's really good quality artwork and it looks like you noted you needed a border for playability (so the colors don't full bleed to see from the edge of the deck). The purple pip color is a minor concern, but it's differentiated from the red enough. The back design should be more prominently featured, one can only assume what the back looks like from the back of the tuck and the one shot where a portion appears to be visible, I would call it out directly. The biggest thing that needs work in my opinion is the tuck front, with this artwork on the cards the tuck doesn't really have the same impact.

Other than that I think being on Indiegogo may be your biggest challenges, but I see you are doing MPC with a reasonable low goal (with possible move to USPCC) so perhaps you'll be one of the few that makes it there instead of KickStarter. The price before shipping isn't terrible either, maybe just a tad high for MPC, but not bad. Anyhow, good luck!

This was already on Kickstarter like a year ago. Not sure Indiegogo is the best route for a deck of cards.

There's definitely a lot to learn as it's my very 1st custom deck - I've realized there's SO much more that goes into this than creating art...geezus lol

Thank you! Yes! as mentioned it's a relaunch. I cancelled to rework some of the images and do more prelaunch prep before putting it live again. Also, to find a different funding platform that allowed more flexibility. You're right, I did get more supporters on Kickstarter, but curious as to why more supporters fund custom cards on Kickstarter than Indiegogo? hmm...

There may be more than one reason, but for sure that I know of is that Indiegogo takes funds right away instead of a specific future date so there is no way of planning for that ahead of time.

I think Talisman hit the nail on the head. I think many people, myself included, want to support projects, but only want the money to go to the creator if it actually funds and is going to be produced. If it doesn't fund then we lose nothing. But with Indiegogo whether or not it funds the creator gets our money, whether or not he has enough to even produce it. Some might be nice enough to refund the money but not all would.
