Re: Westeros' Wilderness - Bicycle Playing Cards now live on

If you guys haven't realized. stay away from this project, it's going to get sued. "Westeros" is the intellectual property of George R.R. Martin, and HBO has some rights to it too.

Re: Bicycle The Grid 2.0 - Kickstarter LIVE!

I'm surprised the funding for these haven't surpassed the original Grid deck yet. The 2.0 is so much better with the white UV stock. I guess it is tough having a campaign run at the same time as a juggernaut like the Federal 52. I think a lot of discretionary income for card collectors went that di...

Re: Bicycle Asylum - Live on Kickstarter !

There is actually a major problem with international creators going through intermediaries to use kickstarter. Which I feel shouldn't be allowed, it's just finding a loophole around a rules that is there to protect backers.

There is a fine line between blunt and rude. It's just the condescending attitude that gets me. Especially when I was just trying to help.

Edit: thanks for responding though. It actually does make me feel a little better haha.

I know bmpokerworld is large and in charge now, but it doesn't mean he can just be rude whenever he wants. Or if he thinks he can be he should at least change the rules of posting first.

You know, I did read through your excruciatingly dragged out posts. And they weren't clear, which is why I suggested it. There is no need to jump on me when I'm only trying to help. As for my second remark, it was directe at SMS, who is actually behaving in a manner contradictory to the rules of thi...

Re: Bicycle Synthesis - Live on Kickstarter !

Just a side by side comparison, now that all the stated costs are locked in. We charge $7.40 for a priority mail envelope in the US. He is charging $9.70. I cannot imagine what he needs to charge an additional $2.30 per flat rate envelope for. Thanks! I may have missed it in your argument, but I th...

Re: Pixel Lincoln: Bicycle Playing Cards live on Kickstarter

You know, it's cute. That's the only word that really comes to mind for this deck, and that's not a bad or good thing with me. But what really bothers me is that they're running 3 other projects at the same time as this one, as well as still in the process of producing at least 2 other completed pro...

Re: Eco card clips

Thanks for the information guys. I was unaware that Robert was involved, but I have heard of his involvement with the Vortex fiasco. It's too bad that no one reputable could get into making them. Both the Tendril clip and the Grid clip look really good.

Eco card clips

Not sure if this is where this should go, but seemed like a good guess. Feel free to move it where ever you think would be more proper. But does anyone know what happened to Conjuring Creations? I know they went out of business, but I've never heard of WHY. I've always liked the eco clips, and perso...

Stealth Playing cards

So this a new deck on kickstarter, and I'm interested in the design. However the stock is something I'm a little concerned about. It's being printed on 15pt silk coated stock. I looked it up and apparently it's what is used on nice business cards. Apparently 15pt stock is 350 gsm. Could anyone aroun...

I just wanted to respond from the purple decks thread without stirring up the hornets.

I actually took a closer look at them, and ended up buying two. Though I was curious, would you ever consider doing a purple porper clip or something of the like for Aurum?
