Re: TGW and Stockholm17 Present The Parlour Royale - coming soon
You're not a fan? I just thought you might not like them. Regarding the versions for The Parlour, Ivory screams classy to me and I'm looking forward to that. I wasn't a collector back when the original decks came out, so I'm be happy to be around for these. Just as an aside, Red and Blue Parlour de...

Re: The Groundskeeper by Wyrmwood (Produced by the Gentleman Wake, ill. Dan Greta)
Here are some images of what the Seals would've looked like. Seeing as how The Gentleman Wake doesn't appear on the Groundskeeper box anywhere you can see how this was especially annoying to me to discover. Aside from the fact that I like bottom seals, that don't interfere or damage the tuck for ope...

Re: The Gentleman Thief by Thirdway Industries
So the Kickstarter profits are definitely possible. Not as much with a large variety of Deck print runs though. I remember when we did the White ORNATES Kickstarter many years ago. The project received over $100k, but the print costs with USPCC were just over $100k. After seeing that, I vowed to ne...

Re: The Gentleman Thief by Thirdway Industries
There are probably 2 producers who ACTUALLY make a sustainable living from producing playing cards. 1) Lorenzo. Who does multiple projects a year. Has a great loyal fan base. And is a 1 man operation (no designer costs etc.) 2) Jackson. Also does MANY releases a year. Has a loyal following. Is not ...

Re: The Gentleman Thief by Thirdway Industries
Some can stay in business for far less. It's pretty simple for me to understand that some need more and some need less. Some are excessive and some are not. If he needs a lot then so be it, others can give and be happy to contribute so much. I do not want to rain on your expensive parade. All can c...
