I love the technology. Court cards are meh, standard. (not bad) Tuck cases are aslo meh. Technology/advances come at a price, but on the high side of what I'm comfortable with, unless I love the project. Abhor/hate/detest the back design. I hope other artists get a chance to use this technology too.

Why are there so few pictures of the actual cards?

Hint: We would like to see pictures of the actual cards.

Everything is just really, really fantastic about this deck EXCEPT that I wouldn't be able to use them for playing cards with my friends. :( I'm backing the version 2 reprint with values on the corners. I'm sure the project will fund. The artwork is fantastic, but I'm interested in functional decks....

This is another one of those decks where the creator looks like he/she's using their friend's faces for the court cards. They always look out of place, and this is no exception.

When you say poker version, I assume you mean poker-size version. These could not be used for poker. If anything, they would be considered the bastard child of an Korean art deck. For an experimental project, I wish you luck, but this has a zero chance of success as a commercial/Kickstarter venture.

If I had a complaint, the Jack of Diamonds character is not up to the same quality as the rest of the court cards.

Honestly, it looks like a photo with some Photoshop work. I can't remember the last time a photo back deck was successful.

To me, it looks like an experiment, which is good, but I don't think this is something for the masses.

CPC is really on the shit list now. It's overpriced at $20 with hardly no embossing. They made the redering look like how it does just so people can back it. The backs are supposed to have metallic ink but there's nothing on the backs! Without it being it's 100th deck design, it's just another typi...

The solution is quite simple: make all the bands exactly the same on the edge OR don't push the bands all the way to the edge and all the edges are white.

Love the theme, albeit a little bit hokey in places. Can't say that I dig the tobacco colored faces, but I like the artwork for these. The way he used the side to side faces to essentially band the courts works for me. But by not going side to side on number cards, it doesn't work for actually play...

To be brutally honest, I would abort all your efforts on this deck, unless it's just a personal project for yourself. It would not be used for magic, as magicians use decks that look like "normal" decks, which means standard court cards and number cards, or as close to it. Anything else, p...
