Bicycle Triforce?

This I say to help out though it may sound harsh - that marking system will not fly by many a person if they look closely, and marked cards is one of the very first "solutions" most spectators think of when it comes to magic (if they're the "I'm gonna find that damn Waldo" type ...

So this is a deck I have been messing around with. I'm calling it the deduction deck. The goal is to try and hide some more little gaffs and secrets in the cards to help people "deduce" different things. So far all I have put in is a secret marking system on the backs.

I'm just excited to see a JR deck in major retailers, meaning you can buy it for only a few dollars.

Would the marking system be so you could tell the card or is it something where you can only tell one thing about the card (i.e. the suit)? With such a clean design it would seem to be hard to put in a full on marking system.

I know I'm one of the few but I really like a good minimal design. I also really like the backs and the tuck box. Can't wait to see more.

Been following this project for a long time so I made sure to jump in and was able to grab one of the early birds. I really love the backs and the style.

My first guess was interlaced but what I'm wondering is what is the industry first bit about?

I'm still waiting for my vikings, I have no doubt that they will come but I would like to get them before committing to another one of their projects.

Is it just me or does some that artwork look like it is low resolution that is trying to be blown up to be big enough to be printed?

I agree that the back and the patent idea doesn't seem to be too connected but I actually like the old artwork that you pulled from the patent office. Changed the colors, I think these look much better. Big shout out to Will Pitney for the new color scheme.

I think the idea is cool but I don't like the way they represented each hurricane. I also think the pips being tilted is kind of weird.

The queen's head does look a little weird. I also like the bottom right of the card backs.

Ok, so I have been redesigning the face cards, here are two examples, one colored one gray scale. I haven't done any number cards yet as I was mostly focused on the court cards and was probably going to do traditional placements for the pips on the number cards.

I agree about the grayscale. I'm tweaking the colors. I went with that direction for the aces since I like having all the aces look unique, not just spades. Here is some color added into the back. I'm not sure what you mean by the lines on the court being really thick.

Hmmm haven't thought about changing the courts to more of a gray scale except maybe red. I'll mess around with colors some more and see how it turns out.
