Re: Tally-Ho - Kings Wild Project Edition

Crap, these aren't crowd-funded!? Woops... I've misinformed myself yet again. Sigh... These are definitely crowd-funded . If people aren't interested in it and the funding goal isn't met, they won't be printed. So I definitely encourage anyone interested in the deck to grab one to help meet the fun...

Re: Sherlock Holmes - Moriarty Edition Reprint - Playing Car

On a different note (and I say this with as much politeness and tack as I humanly muster) What ever people may say or write about my schedule and how much I have on my plate is only rumor and gossip. Sure I'm busy, but no more busy than any body else with a full time job and a family. My schedule a...

Re: Sherlock Holmes - Moriarty Edition Reprint - Playing Car

I think it's quite easy to take things out of context. I guess before I continue, I should mention that my opinions will be biased. As for the QA issue: Having to reprint the Moriarty sucks, no if and or buts about it. I'd say that Jackson straight up honestly admitted the mistake and refunded the m...

Re: Sherlock Holmes - Moriarty Edition Reprint - Playing Car

I received my Moriarty decks today, but I got the wrong number of decks. I ordered 3 special v1s and 2 of the v2s. However, I got 2 special v1s and 3 of the v2s. At first I thought they replaced one of my special v1s with a v2 since people are only allowed a max of 2. *However* I did remember earli...

Re: The Hive Deck - New King's Wild Deck Coming Soon

There will be 1000 red and 1000 blue Hive decks for a total of 2000 decks though there will be less than that number for sale as we'll be keeping some aside for ourselves. For a lot of those that have wanted Jackson to steer away from crowdfunding, The Hive is completely funded by us. It's been boug...

So, if you're still looking for more ways to expand your growing collectible playing card empire, may I suggest some way to hold decks for international customers and ship them out as they add up (thereby minimizing our shipping expenses). I think the curious thing with this deck is whether it is printed foil on the cards or it's just stickers. It's hard to tell with the photos though.

I shouldn't have used "not perfected"; I'd say like much of everything with BackerKit, their team is constantly improving and making things better. It's gotten way better in a short amount of time. (And, it's not a PR thing, but honestly as someone using it quite a bit, it's a nice system....

Re: "World's First 3D Metal and Mechanized Playing Cards" Li

For BackerKit, the creator/head admin of the account puts in a lock down date. When it reaches that date, all orders that need to be charged will be charged for it. As far as I know, you can't fake a BackerKit project as it has to be synced up with the Kickstarter project via the creator's account. ...

Norbie, Your deck has cellophane on just part because you asked for a signature, so I had to take off the top to sign on the deck itself. ;) I've had a Zenith opened for a few months now and if you handle it constantly, the foil does wear. I don't actually own any other deck with that much foil cov...

I forgot to ask it a bit ago, but how are the Kraken Rum playing cards? I've been indecisive on those and just curious how the actual cards. They look like a fun deck for a poker night.

Re: How Important are the Tuck Case Extras?

Part of the shipping and packaging is the price of fulfilment, whether it's a creator doing all the work themselves or if they get a fulfilment centre to do that. So, yes I do agree that it shouldn't cost 72$ (12x6$) to ship a brick of cards, at the upper end of things, that 72$ can be broken down a...

Re: How Important are the Tuck Case Extras?

Part of the issue, too, with Kickstarter prices is that shipping and handling is included in it. That's roughly 5-6$ depending how well packaged the deck is. I know that most people don't register is as domestic shipping is included, but in theory that drops the actually deck price to 5-7$/deck when...

Re: Sherlock Holmes - Moriarty Edition Reprint - Playing Car

Well... In BackerKit there's a v1 add on for repeat backers, and there a v1 add on for all backers. I am not sure why there is a need to differentiate between the two if everyone is now allowed to get one... The difference is that the one for repeated backers costs only $8, and the other goes for $...

I never considered this before, but it makes sense. With Lee and Jason leaving, that's a considerable talent drain from E's design team. So here's a question, why launch this if you don't have international rights "yet" as stated on the project page? Why not just wait until you have those rights? I mean people outside the US are going to get these anyway via resellers so the whole doesn't even make much sense but if the li...
