Re: Unity Frankendeck by DripDrop Sounds and ShuffleCut 52
The holo in the deluxe decks seems unnecessary, and not how the individual cards were designed You echo my thoughts exactly. Same. I’m definitely backing the deck one way or another but curious to know how the holo versions are being done. If the designers were involved in constructing the foil lay...

I know this didn't get a lot of traction but I will have the extras available on my website tomorrow for pre-order with shipping in mid- to late-July. I have included a few images of the final gilded decks as I only had prototypes for the campaign. www.curioplayingcards.com Your minis are always am...

and 6 months later here we are. Glad I ultimately didn't spring for more than one deck Thanks for posting these. I didn’t end up backing but, as a fan of Bivas and Ritu, I was torn and hence curious to know how they turned out. I don’t have a particular problem with people using renders instead of ...

I have to buy 4 decks to get the standard lunch box and 8 decks to get the limited edition lunch box (& gilded deck). I wish they sold them in the same set as the kickstarter... Same. I love the lunchbox and would have gladly gone for the KS standard set plus box if it was an option. But having...

I am pretty certain that Jonathon is one of the good guys BUT his whole idea of leaving Internationals out of the KS campaign and choosing Legends is doing him AND US no favours  When you look at how out of date Legends website is, you have to wonder how anybody would choose them to partner u...

Mine arrived today in Oz. I got one of the Luxury Edition. Still forming a view of the cards themselves (giving it a couple of days) but gotta say, the Studio Pression tuckbox and sleeve are superb. So much fine print detail and intricate foil inside and out. Plus it just feels really solid. Not sur...

It is the end of next week here and still nothing on Legends Their homepage is not inspiring as the top rotating banner features Very Peri - The 2022 Color of the Year It would be good to get a revised date - especially if it’s gonna be a while. At this point, its just a matter of trust I suppose. The evidence presented by that Reddit post is compelling (especially the part where the campaign description was changed). But I don't think there's a way of conclusively proving anything one way or another. It's on Reddit after all, posted by so...

Re: Tragoedia Macbethi Playing Cards - Experience the Tragedy of Macbeth
Agree with most of the feedback already provided. Especially the suggestion to reduce the funding goal by sticking with the colour deck (it looks like that was the one folks were mainly getting) and potentially consider a cheaper printer. I love Macbeth and have several Shakespeare-themed decks but ...

For me, Herman is the model of a good creator. Innovative elements, interesting themes, well-executed with great attention to detail. An artstyle that is distinct but doesn’t feel samey from deck to deck. And, best of all, well-constructed campaigns that run smoothly and aren’t over-hyped or overloa...

Never heard that pseudonym! Adam Moore's personal site lists theory11's Ellen and National decks as his work, as well as lots of packaging for magic tricks. I'd be very very surprised if this is somehow a different Adam Moore  Thanks. Didnt know he did Ellen (and Magic packaging too). Must be ...

I wonder if this is the same Adam Moore who illustrated the National deck for Theory 11 some years back (under the pseudonym Harold Apples). The style isn’t very similar but T11 do seem to like to go back to proven designers.

Received my Treasury deck yesterday.
I love it. Those aces especially. Also pleased at how well they handled - a bonus considering it was a mystery printer.

Given the low available quantity, I'm worried I'll be at work and miss these. Is there a way for us here to reserve one copy of each? I'll reserve 3 of each and list 22 Treasury decks and 7 Kin-dza-dza decks. Yes, we only have 10 of Kin-dza-dza in USA. The price is $19.95 and $14.95 + shipping This...

Are there any notable archival collections of modern playing cards? Yale's Cary Collection seems to have mostly (only?) older stuff, and I have no idea what may be in USPCC's supposedly-in-storage collection I’d be curious to know this too. I take comfort that there seems to be a lot of modern coll...

Re: What do you do with your beautiful / expensive / gilded cards?
There’s no right or wrong way to collect but I remember a comment someone made once that said (paraphrasing): ‘there’s a pretty decent chance that when you’re dead and gone, your treasured deck collection will be thoughtlessly boxed up and tossed into land fill or the back of a mouldy basement. Life...

Beautiful deck. I like it even more after seeing the whole campaign. The sole splash of colour on the joker is a wonderful touch. Answering my own question from earlier, it looks like the artist is @TwilightDecks. My only peeve is that I would have happily paid a premium for a single gilded deck (or...

Based on the pics so far, I really love these.
Lovely understated tuckbox design, cool back which I imagine makes a great fan. I think the court art is sweet (keen to see more of them though) and the floral pips are gorgeous.
Anyone know who the artist is?

These look pretty cool to me. It’s a bit hard to tell from the grid images provided, but definitely keen to see more.
