The prism is growing on me a little. For the ivory (white), are we looking at full gold foil or some gold metallic ink on the back?

Mystery Craft and Redemption VIII seem to have been removed from the shop, any idea why that is? I know the blue prisms were time-limited but last I saw the Redemptions/Mystery decks were still plentifully stocked and not time-limited to my knowledge.

Re: OATH'S PATREON -details

so to summarize multiple hot foils is almost the norm for lotrek while other producers do 1 or maybe 2 hot foils occasionally? Lotrek has probably done more multiple hot foil decks himself than every other card producer combined. I'm not a lotrek fanboy, but he's clearly the hot foil leader in the ...

I know lotrek's doing some weird printing techniques or something, and that's what he's been known for. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this looks like something even WJPC can do without issues. Even Cartamundi could have done it back in their day and these would've been done and dusted already. I lik...

USPCC Standard Faces + Tuckbox Template?

Does anyone have the files (preferably in .AI format) of the standard USPCC face cards and tuckbox? I already messaged USPCC via email but they won't give it out unless I am ready to place an order for custom decks.

Re: TGW presents The Beetlebacks designed by Widakk

The holo faces were never unlocked, so there’s nothing to “put back” there. At this point he’s trying for the holo faces because he (and backers) want them, not because he is required to. As for the giveaway, I admittedly haven’t been keeping track of the giveaway in KS updates, but I know he’s been...

Kickstarter carries some inherent risks. Creators failing to deliver a promised reward is one of them. I have had more than a few never deliver, including my first kickstarter. If it is a major worry, then either avoid Kickstarter like the bubonic plague, or be very selective when backing. Even bei...

Re: Cartamundi Factory Relocation

Think Omar mentioned in his podcast that the Belgium factory is being kept operational but for MTG and Yugioh, and that custom playing cards make up a very small (2%) share of the card market. So Cartamundi has them at the lowest priority hence the downgrade in manufacturing plant. As disappointing ...

Re: Cartamundi Factory Relocation

My main concern is Lorenzo's deck clumping when fanning. I loved B9 Slimline because it handled far better than USPC decks, but clumpy fans on test decks that weren't even foiled/gilded is a red flag to me. Either Cartamundi sent out unfinalized test decks (not sure why they would do that), or we sh...

Re: Cartamundi Factory Relocation

While it's good to hear that Cartamundi's new stock and finish is near identical to B9 slimline, I'm curious why they are sending out samples when the stock is still being developed, namely with gilding. They currently don't have their gilding process squared away, and I assume that would require so...

Re: The Goldsmith by Kevin Cantrell (Cantrell A Priori 001) with TGW

I can tell you that my conversation was pretty detailed. We discussed it because I was concerned the new board would be too thick for my pre-existing tuck boxes (that have already been designed and had plates made for). I was assured that the overall deck thickness was comparable to slimline. If it...

Unfortunately had to drop my prisms close to the end, I had been holding on to hope that funding would be close enough to make the holo faces happen, as the prisms feel really incomplete without them. The diminished funding will have a dramatic effect on the print run totals. These decks will end up being the most rare TGW decks. Although I will reserve the right to print 1500 legacy for instance. Chances are production will be closer to 500. Is every edition going to have a reduced print run? O...

Re: TGW presents The Beetlebacks designed by Widakk

if I did the math correctly having 2 accounts would save you about $3 assuming every deck unlocks $564 1 completionist @ $345 + an extra dynastinate, prism, gold, and marked is $567 and you would have 3X extra red/blue/black (post above mine raises a good point though, is there going to be a limit ...

What's the best/most cost-effective way to get 2 of everything? 2 accounts? Hi, probably... although if you wait until the prisms/legacy unlock you could add everything as add-ons. Although the savings are best with the completionist. We can do that? I figured trying to bypass the 1 limit add-ons w...

The Dynastinae retains the gold foil edges. As does the Prism until 800% where the gold is turned into holofoil on the prism faces. This will hopefully be made clearer with... Pretty watered down from the other private reserves, but I'm sure some budget collectors might want. No foiling, no signature, no wax seal. I will say, nice foiled+embossed tuck. This essentially feels like a T11 deck but >2x the price

Re: The Groundskeeper by Wyrmwood (Produced by the Gentleman Wake, ill. Dan Greta)

As someone else mentioned, I think Cartamundi's foiling wasn't great. The foiling on the limited edition Tempest decks (printed by Cartamundi) were pretty washed out and hard to see. I'm actually kind of excited to see a new printer step in and do the foiling aspect better hopefully without sacrific...
