Re: New deck from Seasons Playing cards
I love every part of the design but the reversed Indexes just don't look good in my opinion. I would still buy it, because the most important part for me is the back design and not the faces but I would prefer it to be like the others.

Re: No Words
Nice moves ! Wish the cinematography was a little bitter, it was a little too dark at times, and the overcast sky didnt help. But nice moves nonetheless, was this for ICO ? Thanks. True, the weather wasn't the greatest, but then again, this was one of the nicer days this summer, we had lots of rain...

I'm on vacation visiting my grandparents in France and this is the town they live in. And it has some very nice spots. This was shot in church ruins, castle ruins and in town.Eoghann wrote:Very nice! Where's the location you went to show off those moves? Some church ruins?

Looks good. From what I can tell from his instagram account, the back design looks really nice in motion, especially in spins.

Re: Virtuoso - Spring/Summer 2014 Deck
Can someone please explain why the hell shipping from Singapur to USA is so cheap compared to EU... its even FREE shipping for 12 decks and we need to pay 23$ for EU ... no f**king way. I think they ship most decks from the US. I received mine from "Virtuoso Shipping, Ohio" and I'm in Ger...

Re: Virtuoso - Spring/Summer 2014 Deck
I received my decks a few days ago and I'm really happy with them. Only complaint is that they could be a bit stiffer but they're still really good. Also, the borders are VERY thin. I had no problem with the downloads, I received them a day after payment.

Very nice! Like you said there wasn't anything really new or groundbreaking but there doesn't always has to be, your video was still a pleasure to watch. The video quality is really good and everything was well performed. Well done!

Re: deck question
It really comes down to what you like personally. The more you practice and the more experience you have, the easier it'll be for you to choose the decks you like. For DVD's I have the Trilogy by D&D as well as SOLO by Michael James and they're both really good, but not for beginners. I would ha...

So the Octo Cardistry Competition is going on for the last couple of weeks. I made it into round two (with 11 other cardists) but I didn't make it into the finals, sadly. Well, anyway, here are my videos for t rounds 0 - 2 [youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHDE12diHpQ&list=UU1sHWy79-J9HSa...

Re: Love Art Playing Cards
Mirror you are going to like this, looks like the courts will be like the old S&M courts. Wonder if SI Scott retained the rights to the courts from d&d. Indeed, I'm happy to hear this :) But for me, nothing has beaten the original Smoke & Mirrors v1 - v3 court cards with the black, yell...
Re: printing? (wap)
Thanks for the comments. Mirror why do you "highly recommend" them? Lol Because the quality is really good, considering that you can do really small runs up to just printing just one prototype. Stock and finish are very good quality. They feel very different from what we're used from USPC...

If I'm not wrong these would be released in the Chinese market and not the us market. It's to commemorate the Chinese valentines. I recall seeing a price somewhere but it's not cheap, somewhere in the ballpark of $40 a pair. Depending on the back design, I might even consider getting some, just bec...

Love Art Playing Cards
So I stumbled on this on instagram and it immediately caught my attention because of my love for Smoke&Mirrors decks. It looks like someone worked with Si Scott again on a new deck of cards (or maybe it's not new I just haven't seen it before). Does anyone know anything about these?

Re: USPC vs EPCC vs MPC vs et al
I think I'll start off the argument here. I greatly prefer EPCC over USPC. Why? Simply because they last longer , in both terms of finish and handling. I can use an EPCC deck for months before they wear out to a degree where I can't even do a top push-off. On the other hand, I use a USPC deck for a...
