Nah, it's a guy named Jerry dressed as Sailor Moon.

Re: Robin Hood by KWP - Sept2020 Shorts deck

My observation is that KWP decks intended to be produced by USPCC have been pushed back in some cases with EPCC decks moving forward, presumably due to factory closure earlier this year.

Wow, I hoped with the initial rush out of the way I would get a few decks when I got home. Nope! I realize people live all around the globe in different time zones, but what's up with US companies releasing at morning/noon so often? Would love to see an evening launch for once, I might even be aroun...

I've given some thought to such things, since it's essentially not much different than a backcountry camping kit. I personally tend towards ultralight, since extra weight means more effort trying to run with all that gear. Here's my backpacking kit, and thoughts/comments: Sleeping kit: This is essen...

This is right up my alley. Obviously I'd like to see a quality printer used, but if you really want to go outdoors, offer a PVC deck as well.

Re: Tally Ho Elite Editions

Some other decks, including USPCC decks, don't faro at all, in either direction. Which one from USPC doesn't faro at all? Off the top of my head, I have a deck of Archangels bought at Walgreens that cannot faro in either direction. I've read some others comment that theirs can, but mine can't; in e...

Re: Tally Ho Elite Editions

I'm just going to say it: the supposed implications of traditional vs modern cut have never really made sense compared to actual experience faroing various decks. Supposedly modern cut 808s faro face down perfectly, face up not at all. Traditional cut decks printed on USPCC stock do exactly the same...

Watching all these pics I understood I'm really tired of every day routine and now my only dream is to be somewhere in such a place with pure nature around. This puts a smile on my face. Finally some photos with the new phone. I ran nice and high today to celebrate my birthday and saw some interest...

I don't mind the subject matter, it's sensible for a beach setting. But the courts have no color, and if there's one thing I would expect from South Beach Miami, it's color. I'm guessing the profusion of butts and blank faces belies a lack of ability to draw more.

The seller has selected and has an agreement with all these so it's up to them to get to the bottom of it. To the sellers credit they did actually ask how it was packaged to establish if it was packaged well enough. In your case i agree it was the most straightforward thing to contact delta yoursel...

If you can't guarantee that an item will arrive safely and undamaged to a certain country (or apparently continent in this case) then simply do not offer to them. Unless of course you're prepared to take full responsibility and make things right if anything goes wrong. When a somebody buys somethin...

Well, mine arrived intact and required no reconstruction. Aside from the known printing error, my entire set is as expected. I'm also not steamed about the printing error, there are already plans in place to correct it and I'm forgiving of mistakes if they are fixed. I think it's a good looking deck...

Re: Anubis & Osiris Vol. 2 by Steve Minty (?)

Strangely enough, when I read the discussion about reprints in another thread, I immediately thought that this is a deck that badly needs a reprint. I'd rate it as one of the best ever made, a real classic among collectable decks. Needless to say I'd want a few of these, I was lucky enough to get an...

Re: Kings Wild Project (KWP) Customer Service?

I've had good experiences. Most of my contact has been with Nick, and he generally got back to me by the next day, often same day and once within the hour. The only "issue" I had wasn't even working against me, after I set up delayed shipping KWP mailed me a few decks that I didn't pay shi...

Re: The Bewb Deck - Breast cancer awareness deck by Daniel Schneider

Ironically enough, breast cancer is not an exclusively female disease, and men who do get breast cancer often feel marginalized by the fact that it's presented as a feminine problem. How many people even bothered to consider this? Also, nobody would be upset by a deck that depicts penises for prosta...

I had to look closely at this cause I naturally thought the same thing as bdawg, that this will be a deck with the faces of backers drawn in. Nope! Ha! I'm not even mildly annoyed because it affects nothing for me, I use delayed shipping so the next batch will be in stock before September anyway, but what a shocker. Came here expecting to see some kind of xenomorph ripoff.

Instead, it's...adorable. I like that the courts are one-way but invertible. Agree that the back design isn't really worthy of the faces. I might still back, baby dinosaurs are too cute.

This is actually a really cool looking deck, but the campaign is all over the place. Nevermind the rather interesting discussion of the deck, the limited edition bridge-size deck is only available in a single tier that requires buying 10 decks and isn't shown anywhere. What's up with that?

I like stretch goals that offer free deck upgrades (foil, metallic inks, improved tuck, etc) to the decks you already backed. It makes sense because the extras are only economical for the creator at scale; it's nice because you pay nothing extra and get a better deck than you originally backed. Faun...

Am I reading this right? You claim to have patented the concept of using holograms - a technology invented in 1948, I might add - specifically on playing cards, a technology invented somewhere in the depths of time?

That pretty much sounds like patent trolling to me.
